A. Corporate (3 representatives = 3 votes):

• Open to corporate organizations which have substantial investment or operational interest held by Hong Kong or non-Hong Kong legal entities, interested in having business relation/connection with Hong Kong, subscribed to the objects of the Association and are willing to abide by the terms of the HKBAV Constitution, willing to have a full voting right as Ordinary Member.
• Corporate Member is allowed to transfer his/her Membership to the person who is employed by the same company. It should be charged at an additional fee (US$5.00) for replacement each time except for the due time of membership (i.e. July 31st every year). A new membership card will be issued when the replacement procedure is completed and it’s only acceptable for maximum three times’ replacement per company in the term of year and official announcement written by the management is needed to send to HKBAV for each replacement.

B. Individual (1 representative = 1 vote):

• Open to business individuals who are Hong Kong – Chinese nationality or Hong Kong Residence Cardholder, interested in having business relation/connection with Hong Kong, subscribed to the objects of the Association and are willing to abide by the terms of the HKBAV Constitution, willing to have a full voting right as Ordinary Member.

C. Associate (1 representative = *Non-voting):

• Open to business individuals who are not holding Hong Kong – Chinese nationality (Vietnamese or other nationalities), but whose business is substantially involved in the development of trade and investment relations between Vietnam and Hong Kong, subscribed to the objects of the Association and are willing to abide by the terms of the HKBAV Constitution, will be recruited as ‘Associate Members’ as verified by the scrutiny of the Membership Committee of the HKBAV.

D. Honorary (*Non-voting):

• Apply to the corporate organizations/individuals who have significantly contributed to the Association and unanimous invitation of the General Committee Members.

* Non-voting: have no right to elect & to be elected to the General Committee Members and vote on motions.
