R&J at The Reverie Saigon has emerged from its redesign as a complete multi-level, multi-experience dining destination. Arranged over three levels, the now distinct R&J Restaurant and the R&J Lounge guides guests on a journey from pre-dinner aperitif through casual or formal dining and finally comfortable post-meal relaxation.

Located on the Ground and Mezzanine level, R&J Lounge is comprised of a casual dining area where guests can dine at the counter while taking in the chefs at work in the open kitchen, and a cozy lounge that is great for an after dinner drink.

The main feature of the lounge’s dining is fresh seafood, accompanied by an extensive list of some of the world’s finest Champagnes and sparkling wines.

An example of some of the seasonal seafood on offer includes oysters and lobster from Canada and Vietnam, Oscietra Caviar, soft-shell crab, Alaska king crab, John Dory and Dover Sole.   

Meanwhile, R&J Restaurant on the B1 level remains the city’s premier Italian fine dining experience. Though the menu may evoke home-style dining, the ambiance is full of flair and romance, from walls of vibrant Italian mosaics to extravagant candelabras and a whimsical collection of deliberately different dining chairs that celebrate 40 distinctive corners of Italy.

Mr. Kai Speth, WMC Group Vice President Operations and Business Performance said the new format and layout for R&J made for a dining experience that was unique in the city. “There is something quite immersive to it, that within this one venue is such a variety of things happening,” he said.

The new R&J Lounge has a seating capacity of 42, and is open seven days from 5:00pm to midnight. R&J Restaurant can seat 100 and is open daily from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.

Taking its name from Shakespeare’s epic romance, Romeo and Juliet, R&J stokes a similar passion in lovers of traditional Italian cuisine. Prepared under the watchful eye of a renowned Italian chef, the menu at R&J features exquisite Italian cuisine, prepared with the finest seasonal produce and presented with flair right in the heart of Saigon.
