Windsor Plaza hotel is the place to enjoy the Lunar New Year with a host of sumptuous dining options on offer for you to celebrate with family, friends and colleagues.

At Ngan Dinh restaurant, the highlight is the ‘Prosperity’ set dinner featuring traditional Chinese dishes of fresh vegetables, abalone, lobster, oyster soup and Peking duck in unique culinary creations. Priced at just 6,888,000 ++/10 persons, it is available from 13 January to 2 February 2020.

Guests can also choose from the chef’s specially curated a la carte menu of classic Chinese favourites starting from just 68,000++, available from 13 January to 2 February.

Traditional Lunar New Year Punchoi creations are also available from 20 to 31 January. A classic of Cantonese cuisine reserved for most of the special occasions, this ancient, layered dish is meant to be shared together. Two different Punchoi creations are available, each serving six people, starting at 2,280,000++. In addition, braised eight-head abalone in oyster sauce is just 168,000++.

Authentic Cantonese feasts perfect for sharing are also available from 20 to 31 January, featuring Lohei with abalone (988,000++ for a table of four persons) and Lohei with salmon (888,000++ for a table of four persons).

The familiar image of a New Year cake, or Nian-gao, is a welcome sight during Lunar New Year. Nian-gao (gao) symbolizes progress, advancement, and growth. Every family inevitably buys or makes this for Lunar New Year celebrations, in the hope of having a better year ahead. It is also a popular gift to give when visiting family and friends during Tet holiday. Two sets of cakes –Twin Treasure rice cakes (528,000++ per box) and Lucky Red Fish rice cakes (298,000++ per box) are available to order from 1 to 24 January with deliveries beginning on 13 January.

Over at Café Central An Dong, you can celebrate from 24 to 31 January with a buffet of regional dishes including Yusheng fish salad for abundance, prosperity and vigor in the New Year. Priced at just 898,000 ++/person, including free flow draught beer, sparkling wine and soft drinks.

Finally, take in the sweeping views over the city at Top Of The Town Bar & Restaurant, and enjoy a special six-course set menu featuring such delicacies as royal style grilled meat, hot and sour shrimp soup, pork and egg braised in coconut juice, and Vietnamese steamed banana cake served with coconut sweet sauce. Priced at only 488,000++/person, it is available from 24 to 31 January 2020, including live music on Friday and Saturday.
