WMC GROUP APPOINTS NEW VICE PRESIDENT RESOURCES PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT
Windsor Property Management Group Corporation (WMC Group) has just announced the appointment of Mr. James Young to the position of Vice President Resources Planning and Development.
Mr. Young is an award-winning international hotelier with experience in several senior leadership roles in large and complex businesses across Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. He has a proven track record of building and guiding high performing teams of many nationalities.
He holds an MBA with distinction from the University of Bradford, School of Management and a B.Sc. (Hons) in International Tourism and Hospitality Management with first class honours from Sheffield Hallam University.
“I am delighted to be joining WMC Group at this time and look forward to working to help grow the business through the development of human capital and resources,” he said.
Mr. Young has been a General Manager and Area General Manager for over ten years, primarily with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). In Vietnam, he has held the position of Area General Manager Indochina for IHG, as well as being General Manager of the multiple award-winning InterContinental Asiana Saigon. He takes great pride in the many young hoteliers of different nationalities that he has mentored and continues to develop.
As the Vice President Resources Planning and Development of WMC Group, Mr. Young will play a key role in driving the group’s ambitious plans to establish itself as one of Vietnam’s leading hospitality brands, paving the way for continual growth and expansion.
