CATEGORY OF MEMBERSHIP

A. Ordinary and Associate Memberships

Categories: Ordinary [Voting]

- Corporate [3 Representatives]: Open to corporate organizations which have substantial investment or operational interest held by Hong Kong legal entities, subscribed to the objects of the Association and are willing to abide by the terms of the HKBAV Constitution.
- Individual [ 1 Representative]: Open to business individuals who are Hong Kong – Chinese nationality or Hong Kong Residence Cardholder,subscribed to the objects of the Association and are willing to abide by the terms of the HKBAV Constitution.

Associate: [Nonvoting]

- Corporate [3 Representatives]: Open to corporate organizations which have substantial investment or operational interest held by non-Hong Kong legal entities, interested in having business relation/connection with Hong Kong, subscribed to the objects of the Association and are willing to abide by the terms of the HKBAV Constitution.
- Individual [ 1 Representative]: Open to business individuals who are holding other nationalities, but whose business is substantially involved in the development of trade and investment relations between Vietnam and Hong Kong, subscribed to the objects of the Association and are willing to abide by the terms of the HKBAV Constitution.

* Corporate Membership is allowed to transfer his/her Membership to the person who is employed by the same company. It should be charged at an additional fee (VND288,000) for replacement each time except for the due time of membership (i.e. December 31st every year). A new membership card will be issued when the replacement procedure is completed and it’s only acceptable for maximum three times’ replacement per company in the term of year and official announcement written by the management is needed to send to HKBAV for each replacement.

* Individual membership is not allowed to transfer. its benefits are only entitled to that individual person and can’t be extended to others. At the Membership Directory, the Individual membership will be listed under the individual name.

*Non-voting: have neither right to elect nor to be elected to the General Committee Members and vote on motions.

B. Honorary Membership [non-voting]

- Apply to the corporate organizations/individuals who have significantly contributed to the Association and unanimous invitation of the General Committee Members.
