Sun Cypress Shipping Company Limited is a Hong Kong based professional common barge operator founded on 1st March, 1999. We provide daily Barging Service of Gaolan from/to Hong Kong, Shenzhen (SCT,CCT,MCT,DCB), Nansha, Yantian.

Headquartered in Hong Kong, we also own and operate branches in South China, such as Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Gaolan. In addition, our wholly owned subsidiary in Guangzhou, Sun Cypress (GZ) Freight Forwarding Agency Company Limited, was granted a license by the Ministry of Commerce of PRC under CEPA arrangement in March 2004. We were regarded as the first wholly owned International Freight Forwarding Agency and the first company in the Trade In Services sector approved by the Ministry of Commerce under CEPA in the country. The license helps us to extend our service scope and network, such as trucking services in Zhuhai and Shunde Yantian watergate operations (WGO) in PRC

To further expand our business globally, barging service of Newport Cypress Joint Stock Company (Joint Venture with a leading terminal operator in Vietnam, Saigon Newport Corporation) was launched in May 2010, providing weekly shuttle service sailing between Hochiminh City (Cai Lai and Cai Mep) and Cambodia (Phnom Penh).

To sustain and maintain our competitive edge in its strength in mainlandlogistics business, a PRC joint venture company, Ganzhou Gangang Logistics (Jiangxi) Company., Ltd was established in July 2018, providing truck/railway/ocean multimodal transportation, warehousing services and depot management. We cooperate with Ganzhou Port serving JiangXi Province, especially Nankang District – an industrial zone of furniture manufacturing.

In 2022, we further expand our business in PRC. Another PRC joint venture company, Zhongshan Cypress Logistics Co., Ltd was set up, providing diverse service modes for ocean carriers and WGO customers.
