BOOK DONATION FOR LAM SON B PRIMARY SCHOOL

We are proud to announce our latest "Book Donation" charity project for Lam Son B Primary School, located in Gon 2 Village, Lam Son Commune, Ninh Son District, Ninh Thuan Province. The HKBAV Charity Committee has donated 45 sets of "Connecting Knowledge to Life" textbooks, worth VND 13,493,250, to benefit 45 grade 5 students.

The school, located in an ethnic minority area, consists of 10 classes with 212 students, predominantly from the Raglai and Co-ho communities. These families, engaged in slash-and-burn agriculture, have unstable incomes and struggle to afford new textbooks. Our donation aims to support these students by providing the necessary resources for their education.

HKBAV set up the Charity Funds in 2016 and over the years, more than 30 of groups/organizations has received funding over 4.4 billion dongs (USD$176,048) donated by our members and partners.  HKBAV has taken on a longer-term initiative under the banner of “Enable Learning Impart Knowledge” where we focus to fund sustainable initiatives in education, training and students’ welfare. HKBAV generally will chose to work groups/organizations that do not enjoy any privilege to ready fundings.  To become a corporate or individual donor or if you have a project we should consider, send the information to hcmc@hkbav.org and we will follow up with you.
