DONATION OF READING ROOM IN THANH ĐỨC COMMUNE, LONG HO DISTRICT, VINH LONG PROVINCE

As the saying goes, to learn to read is to light a fire, Victor Hugo.
 
HKBAV has been dedicating to the education of the Vietnamese community through our commitment of the initiative “Enable Learning  Impart Knowledge”. We believe that a reading room can bring huge impact to the growth of students especially where access is limited. The fully utilized a library/reading room, undeniably, librarian training is also fundamental, to maintain the sustainability of the library.   

This year, HKBAV has voted to donate VND99,955,900 (USD$4275) for another reading room in Thanh Đức C primary school. The school is located in the Thanh Đức commune, Long Ho District, with 785 students and 19 teachers.
 
Reading Corner Donation items: 1,050 Vietnamese language children’s books/ 4 tables, 32 chairs, 15 stools, 20 sitting pillows, 8 floor mats & 5 large bookshelves/globe & maps / librarian training courses and materials.”
 
This is the 4th library HKBAV has donated to the local community delivered by The Library Project.
