OPENING DOORS TO LEARNING: SUPPORTING STUDENTS AT WARD 25 UNIVERSAL SCHOOL

For many children, access to education comes with challenges that go beyond the classroom. At Ward 25 Universal School, students are given the opportunity to continue learning and build a brighter future, regardless of the difficulties they may face.

Established in 1998, the school provides educational opportunities to children who may have missed the usual starting age for formal education or experienced challenges in their learning journey. Many come from migrant-worker families facing financial difficulties, where parents work hard to support their households.

Beyond the regular curriculum, the school also offers additional lessons in English, computer skills, art and life skills to help students develop their knowledge and confidence.

For the 2025–2026 academic year, the school welcomed 200 students across six classes, including 95 semi-boarding students, supported by a team of six teachers. A further 200 students are expected to enrol for the 2026–2027 academic year.

To support their continued education, HKBAV sponsored 2,470 textbooks and workbooks for students from Grades 1 to 5, with a total contribution of VND 46,460,415.

By helping provide essential learning materials, HKBAV hopes to ease the burden on families and ensure that more children have the resources they need to learn, grow and pursue a brighter future.
