Tree planting and reforestation efforts contribute significantly to a healthier planet and can foster community engagement and education about environmental stewardship. As part of SingCham Vietnam’s social responsibility commitment toward education and environment, this July 2026, we will partner with KTG Industrial, and Joy Foundation to organise: “Building Green & Beyond” Reforestation day, thankfully graced by the Consul-General of the Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City.

This year, our destination will be Núi Ông Nature Reserve, Binh Thuan Province, about 130km from Ho Chi Minh City. Stretching across the area adjacent to the Di Linh Plateau, Núi Ông serves as a green lung, helping regulate the climate and providing an important water source for major rivers in the South Central Coast and Southeastern regions.

In alignment with JOY Foundation, we will plant 5,000 saplings of Golden Oak and Winged-seed. Those specific types of trees will play an important role in providing valuable timber for construction, while their resin is used for waterproofing and fragrances, enhancing biodiversity and wildlife habitats, improving water quality, and regulating air quality over a large area. Those roots and leaves help protect the environment and effectively prevent soil erosion.

Do join our inaugural dual-CSR Reforestation Day, where every sapling we plant revives the Reserve, and every surplus arising from this event will directly fund EdFund scholarships for deserving Vietnamese students. One day of action, a lifetime of impact – for the earth and its next generation.
