WELCOMING MR. JOSHUA WILLIAMS TO HKBAV GENERAL COMMITTEE
We are delighted to announce that Mr. Joshua Williams has joined HKBAV as a new General Committee Member, replacing an outgoing committee member who retired mid term.

Josh has been the Chief Representative of John Swire & Sons Vietnam since 2023, focusing on investment opportunities for the Swire Group. He joined Swire in 2012 as a Management Trainee and has held diverse roles, including eight years at Cathay Pacific Airways, where he led large teams across ASEAN, served as Country Manager Cambodia, and managed the organisation’s global business restructure. Josh later became Senior Portfolio Manager at Swire Properties' Taikoo Place portfolio in Hong Kong. A Durham University graduate with a 1st in English Literature, he has achieved CIMA Foundation level, is Lean Black Belt certified, and has completed executive training at INSEAD. With regular postings in Hong Kong, Josh considers it his second home.
Alongside Josh’s contributions, the Swire Group’s extensive legacy and diverse operations further underscore its impact in Vietnam and beyond. Swire is a highly diversified global group with over 200 years of history. Operating primarily through Swire Pacific Limited, their Asia Pacific portfolio includes Swire Coca-Cola, Cathay Pacific Airways, HAECO, Swire Properties, and a growing healthcare division. Globally, their parent company, John Swire & Sons Limited, oversees various businesses in the UK, USA, Europe, and Papua New Guinea, as well as deep-sea shipping based in Singapore. In Vietnam, Swire has been active for over three decades across diverse industries. Cathay Pacific marked 30 years of operations between Vietnam and Hong Kong, while Swire Properties has contributed to iconic real estate developments like The River Thu Thiem and Empire City. Most recently, Swire Coca-Cola acquired Coca-Cola Beverage Vietnam Limited in 2023. Their Ho Chi Minh City Representative Office drives further growth in the region.
Please join us in giving Josh a warm welcome as he embarks on this exciting journey with us.
