LOCAL REAL ESTATE SECTOR ALLURES FOREIGN INVESTORS
[12-07-2016] Though the foreign direct investment flow into real estate sector accounts for only 5.3 per cent of the total in the first half of the year, experts see the flow is at a more feasible stage. In the first half of this year, 25 new projects were licensed in Vietnam’s real estate sector with total investment capital up to more than $600 million.
GROWING VN PROPERTY SALES TO FOREIGNERS
[10-07-2016] Many foreigners and Viet Kieu (overseas Vietnamese) are buying apartments in Viet Nam, especially in HCM City, according to market analysts. Over 10,000 apartments were sold in the second quarter of this year, many to foreigners who are permitted to buy up to 30 per cent of the units in a project.
PROPERTY INVENTORY SEES SLUGGISH FALL

OFFICIAL REAL ESTATE INDEX SUFFERS DELAYS
[10-06-2016] The official real estate index, which should have been set up earlier this year, has been delayed while real estate enterprises and associations have continued to provide their own indexes. Property consultants like CBRE, Savills, Cushman & Wakefield and business groups provide various indexes but they are mostly different from each other.
DA NANG PROPERTY MARKET CONTINUES GROWTH IN H1
[11-06-2016] The property market in the central city of Da Nang has seen growth in major segments such as condotel, condominium and hospitality markets in the first half of this year. According to the report on properties in Da Nang in the second quarter, CB Richard Ellis Viet Nam Ltd Company (CBRE Viet Nam), one of the foreign property service providers in the country, reported that Da Nang's condotel market in the first half of 2016 showed a strong increase in new supplies with 2,436 units from six projects.
IZS ATTRACT US$150 BILLION IN FDI SO FAR
[08-06-2016] Industrial zones attracted nearly US$150 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) for 7,540 projects till May, a report by the Ministry of Planning and Investment's Economic Zones Management Department revealed.
DA NANG'S REAL ESTATE MARKET SURGES
[03-06-2016] As many as 2,500 hotel rooms were provided from six large projects operating in hotel management and hospitability industry in the first half of 2016 in the central city of Da Nang. 89% of the rooms was built in Riverfront Condotel Vinpearl Da Nang, Ariyana Beach Resort & Suite Da Nang, Alphanam Luxury Apartment and Ocean Suite (Zone B) projects.
URBANISATION BOOSTS DEMAND FOR REAL ESTATE
[31-05-2016] Rising demand in Viet Nam's residential segment is expected to sustain solid growth in the construction industry, though delays to accompanying infrastructure projects and tighter credit conditions could slow the pace of development.
