Viet Nam has reported 66 infection cases, of whom 16 had been discharged from hospitals while the rest have been confirmed over the last 12 days.

GOV'T HALTS VISA ISSUANCE TO FOREIGNERS TO STAUNCH COVID-19
Foreigners enjoying visa-waiver program or overseas Vietnamese and their spouses and children having been granted with certificate of visa exemption shall only be allowed to enter Viet Nam if they can submit papers certifying they are not positive for the virus.
HO CHI MINH CITY TEMPORARY CLOSES PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT FACILITIES
Deputy chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem on March 14 signed an urgent document requiring local authorities to temporary stop all public entertainment facilities such as cinemas, pubs, online gaming shops, massage parlours, karaoke clubs, discotheques, and theatres in all 24 districts of the city starting from 6pm today (March 15).

VIETNAM HALTS VISA EXEMPTION FOR EIGHT EUROPEAN NATIONS
The Vietnamese government has decided to suspend its unilateral visa exemption policy for citizens from eight European countries: Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Spain, which will officially take effect from March 12.
