[30-09-2015] There are many new industrial parks (IP) among 299 measuring about 84,000 ha in Viet Nam, the Department of Economic Zones Management under the Ministry of Planning and Investment said. In September alone, the country had four newly established IPs of Thanh Hai in Ninh Thuan Province, Chu Trinh in Cao Bang Province, Chan Hung in Vinh Phuc Province and Mong Hoa in Hoa Binh Province.

[30-09-2015] The Government has issued Decree No. 82/2015/NĐ-CP on visa exemption for Vietnamese expatriates, their spouses and children entering Viet Nam. Accordingly, Vietnamese expatriates, their spouses and children are required to have passports or international travel papers that are valid for at least one year, submit identification papers to authorized agencies abroad and not subject to cases of entry and exit suspension regulated at Articles 21 and 28 of the Law on entry, exit and residence of foreigners in Viet Nam.

[25-09-2015] The first of the decrees guiding the new Law on Enterprises has finally been issued - Decree No. 78/2015/ND-CP dated 14 September (“Decree 78”). Decree 78 will become effective as of 1 November 2015 and deals with enterprise registration matters only.

[16-09-2015] The Government recently issued a decree guiding the implementation of the Law on Real Estate Business. The new decree stipulates conditions on real estate business, contract samples, contract transfer, and procedures for transfer of real estate projects. 

[12-09-2015] The minimum wage may increase by VND 250,000 – 400,000 (nearly US$12.5–20) since 2016, according to the draft decree prepared by the Ministry of Labor–Invalids and Social Affairs. The draft decree was introduced after the National Salary Council (NSC) on September 3 agreed to a 12.4% increase in minimum wage for 2016.
