[15-04-2015] The Ministry of Planning and Investment is calling for business comments and feedback on the important draft Decrees guiding the new Law on Investments (LOI) No. 67/2014/QH13 and Law on Enterprises (LOE) No. 68/2014/QH13. [15-04-2015] The General Department of Customs is in the process of drafting the new Law on Import and Export Tariffs, which will replace the current Law no. 45/2005/QH11. In this regards, the General Department of Customs is calling for business’s comments and opinions on the first draft of the Law dated April 7, 2015.
JAPAN RELAXES VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR VIETNAM CRUISE TOURISTS
[15-04-2015] Vietnamese passport holders traveling to Japan by ship do not need to get a visa before departure but ask the cruise line to complete procedures for them to obtain a landing visa. According to the Japanese embassy’s updates about new entry procedures for visitors, foreign tourists, inclusive of Vietnamese nationals, on board cruise ships can enjoy the simpler visa application process.

FOREIGN INVESTORS SCAMPERING FOR A SHARE IN GARMENT INDUSTRY

HANOI PROPERTY MARKET HAS STRONG RECOVERY IN Q1
[06-04-2015] The real estate market in Ha Noi has seen a strong recovery, especially the luxury apartment segment, the CBRE Viet Nam announced yesterday in Ha Noi. In Q1 2015, the market continued its recovery with the comeback of high-end apartments. Construction of some 4,879 new units has begun among 18 projects, an 82 per cent against the same period in 2014, said Nguyen Hoai An, senior manager at CBRE Viet Nam's Ha Noi branch.
