WINE TRAINING: WINES OF THE WORLD - SPAIN & LATIN AMERICA
The program is divided in 5 sections:
1. Introduction to wine studies for Spain & Latin America
2. Aromas identification workshops
3. Wine tasting sequences
5. Wine & Food matching
6. Tips to buy and store
Participants will taste 4 different wines over a three hour-workshop.
KEY-TAKE AWAYS
This training program aims at exploring the world of fine wines and wine appreciation. Participants shall progressively build confidence in their relationship with wine appreciation throughout the workshop, with a greater focus in Spanish and Latin-American wines.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
1. Commenting about wine, using professional terms;
2. Tasting wine in a professional manner;
3. Identifying basic aromas and flavours;
4. Be more confident whilst advising stakeholders.
TRAINING METHOD
Interactive style and trainee-centred pedagogy. Training delivery is performed in a workshop fashion, where participants will ultimately taste (and not drink) wine in a professional manner. Participants will also manipulate and taste premium cheeses, as well as varieties of tapas, cold cuts and condiments.

VAT CUT BY 2% TO CONTINUE FROM JANUARY TO JUNE 2025
The 15th National Assembly approved an extension of the 2% value-added tax (VAT) reduction. The reduction applies to specific goods and services listed in Point a, Section 1.1, Clause 1, Article 3 of Resolution No. 43 on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Programme. The extended policy will be effective from January 1, 2025 to June 30, 2025.
