HONG KONG : ADJUSTMENT OF BOARDING AND QUARANTINE REQUIREMENTS FOR PERSONS ARRIVING FROM VIETNAM
In view of the persistent unstable epidemic situation in the region and the prevalent outbreaks of cases involving the more transmissible mutant virus strains, the Hong Kong SAR Government will specify a number of countries as high-risk Group B specified places and adopt tighter boarding and quarantine measures on arrivals from these places in order to minimise the risk of case importation.
HIGH-RISK PLACE LIST UPDATE - MAY 31, 2021
The Government announced today it will specify Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam as high-risk specified places with effect from June 4. The boarding and quarantine requirements for people arriving from these places will be adjusted.

The HKSAR government has announced that with effect from 31 January 2021, the British National (Overseas) passport will no longer be recognised as valid travel document or proof of identity.
HK UPDATE: ENTRY OF NATIONALS OF VIETNAM FOR STUDY AND UNDER THE IMMIGRATION ARRANGEMENTS FOR NON-LOCAL GRADUATES
We would like to inform you that the entry policies for nationals of Vietnam for study and under the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG) will be relaxed with effect from today (January 25). Under the latest policies, nationals of Vietnam will be eligible to enter Hong Kong for study in full-time locally-accredited local programmes at undergraduate or above level offered by the University Grants Committee (UGC)-funded institutions.
