International travelers who are either fully vaccinated or recovered Covid-19 patients can visit five destinations in Vietnam starting this month, without quarantine mandate. The Government Office announced Tuesday that Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh has approved a pilot plan to welcome international visitors as proposed earlier by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The monthly statistical data presents current economic and social statistics on a variety of subjects illustrating crucial economic trends and developments, including production of agriculture, forestry and fishery, business registration situation, investment, government revenues and expenditures, trade, prices, transport and tourism and so on. `

Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh has recently signed Decision No.1664/QD-TTg approving a project on marine aquaculture development till 2030 with a vision to 2045.

At the close, the main index jumped by 13.49 points over the day earlier, at 1,452.46, with the number of gainers doubling that of losers by 302 to 151. Trading volume and value on bourse slid 11% and 14% against the previous session, at over one billion shares and VND28.8 trillion, respectively. There were over 37.3 million shares worth VND1.8 trillion traded in block deals.

The five-day summit was organised by the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organisation (ASOCIO) and the Việt Nam Software and IT Services (VINASA). The summit will discuss modern technology trends applied in smart cities with five sessions on digital Government; smart real estate; smart industrial parks; digital platforms and solutions for smart cities; and start-ups.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade will promote the digital transformation process in all production and trade fields and pursue a sustainable development model, Dien said, adding that Vietnam will strive for cleaner and greener production, use energy more economically and efficiently, develop foundation industries and supporting industries more synchronously.
