TOURISM FESTIVAL OPENS IN HO CHI MINH CITY
The Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City launched a tourism festival in the city on April 11 under the theme “Happy Summer 2019”. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the department Bui Ta Hoang Vu said several promotion programmes are offered at the four-day event.

PLAN ON IMPROVING LOGISTICS PERFORMANCE INDEX RATIFIED
The Minister of Industry and Trade has issued a Decision on approving a plan improving Viet Nam’s logistics performance index. The plan aims to improve the ranking of Viet Nam in the Logistics Performance Index (LPI), which is announced by the World Bank from 5-10 steps by 2025 (in 2018, Viet Nam occupied the 39th position in the world in LPI ranking).
