CPI RISES 0.46 PCT IN JUNE
[27-06-2016] The consumer price index (CPI) in June saw a month-on-month rise of 0.46 per cent and a year-on-year growth of 2.4 per cent, reported the General Statistics Office (GSO). The GSO announced that the CPI expanded 1.72 per cent on average in the first half of 2016.

MEXICO OPENS NEW SEA ROUTE TO VN
[22-06-2016] The Port of Lazaro Cardenas (LCT), the largest Mexican container port, launched routes to Viet Nam and Chile on June 21 which will save up from 13 to 18 days of transit. According to Alfredco Huesca, the LCT general manager, the sea routes will be operated through an alliance between Trade Link Pacifico and Kansas City Southern de Mexico (KCSM) rail companies.
