CHINA INCREASES INVESTMENT IN HCM CITY
Secretary of the HCM City Party’s Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan on September 16 received Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
At the reception, the Chinese Foreign Minister pledged his best efforts to further foster the relationship between China and Viet Nam in a bid to bring legitimate benefits to the two sides.
He affirmed his country’s willingness to share its experience in combating corruption and stimulating social development with Viet Nam and as well HCM City towards stability, peace and prosperity of each nation.
The Chinese official suggested bolstering closer affiliation in various aspects between the two countries' localities, including the cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and Chinese localities so as to contribute to the common development of Viet Nam-China ties and the strengthening of solidarity and traditional friendship between the two peoples.
In turn, Secretary of the HCM City Party’s Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan highlighted the significance of the 11th meeting of the Steering Committee for Viet Nam-China Bilateral Cooperation as a contribution to deepening the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, thus delivering practical benefit to both sides.
Ho Chi Minh City is ready to do its utmost to keep up its continued contributions to the development of mutually beneficial comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Viet Nam and China and for the sake of peace, stability in the region and the world as a whole, Nhan told his guest.
