[20-06-2015] New capital from foreign investors is gradually flowing into the property market, not only in the premium segment, but also the medium one. The premium real estate segment remains the one which attracts the most foreign capital.

[19-06-2015] Citizens from the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy will now be able enjoy visa exemptions for stays that last no longer than 15 days. According to the recently issued Resolution No 46/NQ-CP, the policy will be in effect for one year, starting from July 1 and ending on June 30, 2016, and applies to all types of passports and immigration reasons, as long as they meet the conditions required by Vietnamese law.

[18-06-2015] Can Tho authorities have approved the launch of a direct flight route between the city and Bangkok, the provincial People's Committee's Deputy Chairman Dao Anh Dung said on June 16. Dung said he agreed with Vietravel's plan to launch the flight route between the southern city and Bangkok in July and to increase flights between Can Tho and Da Dat in the southern Lam Dong Province.

[12-06-2015] Enterprises in Vietnam spent US$712 million importing 447,000 tons of cotton in the first five months of this year, up 35.2% in volume and 8.9% in value compared to the same period last year. The volume included 105,000 tons of cotton worth US$166 million, growing 39.1% in volume and 8.9% in value, Vietnam Television (VTV) reports, citing figures of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Association (Vitas).
