HCM CITY BUSINESSES INVEST $3B IN CENTRAL HIGHLANDS
[02-02-2016] Over 200 enterprises from HCM City have poured nearly VND68 trillion (about US$3 billion) into 287 projects in the Central Highlands, according to the region's Steering Committee.
VND30 TRILLION PROPERTY SUPPORT PROGRAMME STILL UNDERWAY: OFFICIAL
[02-02-2016] The government's VND30 trillion (US$1.33 billion) property support package will continue to be implemented until June 1, an official from the central bank said. State Bank of Viet Nam (SBV) Deputy Governor Nguyen Thi Hong affirmed the continuation at the government's meeting last Friday, after some media reports said several credit institutions had stopped financing within the programme.
APARTMENT PROPOSAL DRAWS MIXED REACTIONS

According to the draft circular, apartment buildings that were put into use from the beginning of July 2015 would be classified into A, B and C.

[25-01-2016] As of December 1, 2015, the Ministry of Planning and Investment issued Circular 20/2015/TT-BKHDT (Circular 20) guiding Decree 78/2015/ND-CP on enterprise registration.
EXCHANGE RATE MAY VARY BETWEEN 3-4% IN 2016: VEPR
[25-01-2016] The exchange rate may vary between 3 and 4% in 2016, according to the Viet Nam Institute for Economic and Policy Research (VEPR). In its macro-economic report, the institute analyzed that the foreign exchange market operated in a relatively stable manner in the first half of Q4, 2015 and exchange rates at commercial banks and free market declined since the yuan devaluation.
